Technical Advisor Air Quality

Arizo is a young, dynamic and fast-growing company with a passion for safety and health. All our people have made it their personal goal to protect people from unhealthy air.

What will you do?

After intensive on-the-job training from your colleagues, you will be our new expert in air sample analysis, advising non-chemists based on your findings. With the knowledge you build up, you will actively contribute to a healthier working environment. In an inspiring environment, you will develop your talents and grow in the direction that energises you.

How do you work?

From the mobile lab in your vehicle, you will take air samples at the border inspection posts in the port of Antwerp and other locations. You will analyse these samples immediately using the unique ‘Arizo method’. With the backup of your colleagues, you will interpret the results on site and provide the customer with clear and workable advice.

Who are you?

  • You are keen to become an expert in air sample analysis
  • Protecting people from chemical risks drives you, and you are keen to expand your knowledge in this field (toxicology and occupational hygiene)
  • You enjoy working in self-managing teams; taking responsibility comes naturally to you
  • You see problems as challenges that stimulate your personal development
  • You realise that the best approach is only temporary and that everything can and must always be improved
  • You hold a category B driving licence so you can use your mobile lab
  • A (higher) degree in chemistry is not required, but is preferred
  • A chemical background through education or work experience is an absolute must

What’s in it for you?

  • Permanent, full-time 40-hour contract (gross starting salary of € 2900.00)
  • 32 days off (including 20 days of annual leave and 12 days of reduced working time)
  • Car, fuel card and smartphone – also for private use
  • Other benefits: hospitalisation insurance, group insurance, and meal and eco vouchers
  • Self-managing teams
  • Personal growth path
